1. Your right to return

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order and return any item within 14 days of receiving it no reason required.

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Unworn and unwashed
  • In its original condition with all tags still attached
  • Free from any odours, stains, or signs of use
  • Returned in its original packaging where possible

2. How to start a return

Starting a return is simple. Follow these steps:

  • Email us: Send an email to info@thehoodies.co.uk with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and your reason for returning
  • Wait for confirmation: Our team will confirm your return request and provide the return address within 2 business days
  • Pack and send: Pack the item securely and send it using a tracked postal service. Keep your proof of postage
  • Refund issued: Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund will be processed within 14 days

3. Return shipping costs

We cover the cost

  • Item arrived faulty or damaged
  • Wrong item was sent to you
  • Item significantly different from description

You cover the cost

  • Changed your mind
  • Ordered the wrong size
  • Item no longer wanted

4. Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Your refund will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned item
  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
  • Your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the refund. This is outside our control
  • If your return is rejected (e.g. item shows signs of use), we will notify you and return the item to you

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or colour, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order separately. This is the fastest way to get the right item to you.

6. Faulty or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@thehoodies.co.uk and include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear photo of the fault or issue
  • A brief description of the problem

We will offer a full refund or replacement at no extra cost to you.

7. Non-returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items returned outside the 14-day window
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
  • Items with missing or removed tags
  • Sale or final clearance items (clearly marked on the product page)
  • Personalised or custom-made items

Please note: As our warehouse is located in Pakistan, return transit times may be longer than standard UK returns. We recommend always using a tracked service and retaining your proof of postage until your refund is confirmed.
